A member of Buffalo Bridge stretches a coyote skin by pulling it against a cable. Smaller skins are stretched by hand, while larger skins like a bison can be stretched against a frame with string. Buffalo Bridge is given skins from the hunts, but they also scavenge road kill such as deer, elk, and coyotes both for tanning and eating.
