George + Zane’s West Yellowstone Wedding

I knew right when I walked through the doors at George and Zane’s wedding that I was a good fit as it screamed “wild dance party” and “the dress code is up to you”. Also of note is my favorite ring story of all time. There have been a number of divorces in their families so George and Zane collected the rings of the failed marriages and melted them down then made their own rings from that gold. I appreciate them giving the middle finger to omens and bad luck.

They also had a most unlikely unfolding of events to lead to this day:

“We met online and chatted for about a month. Came to the point we decided texting would be easier than through the app. George gave Zane his phone number and Zane quickly texted George. However, Zane never heard from George.

A few weeks later Zane was bartending at a friends wedding reception. George was at that reception after being convinced by his sister to go. Zane saw George walk up for a drink then quickly turn around and bolt the opposite direction.  Zane was heartbroken and George seemed to be having the time of his life dancing at this wedding.

Zane decided to reach back out to George, but instead through the app hoping something would happen. When George saw the message he realized…he typed his phone number wrong. We laughed once we figured it out and let out a sigh of relief we both hadn’t been rejected and had our first official date in person shortly after.”
