Last summer I showed up at the 320 Ranch pretending to be an amateur photographer hired to do a few couple’s portraits next to the river. Then “surprise”, Joshua got down on one knee. Except it turned out Celine is pretty intuitive and knew all along what was coming.
They had come to Montana to visit family friends of Celine’s in Ennis, so when it came time to plan the wedding they thought “why not go back again??” I thought that was a great idea and so it came together that we got to spend time together in consecutive summers in almost exactly the same location (30 yards from proposal spot to ceremony spot).
Celine is French and to get her parents to Montana, they first had to travel to the Caribbean for two weeks to quarantine before entering the country. English is not their native language so Celine and Joshua translated their vows so her parents could read along (you’ll see a photo showing this in the slideshow).
