There is nothing quite like a winter wedding in the mountains of Montana, and it’s even more special when the couple is as sweet and caring as Kylie and Tanner. Both their families were warm, happy, and generous to the point of making me feel as though I were a family member.
Kylie and Tanner got ready (separately) in a house above the Meadow Village. The plan was to go straight to Big Sky Chapel for their ceremony, but we made a call to have them do a quick first look and prayer in the falling snow, which was one of my favorite moments of the year. After the ceremony in front of their favorite (and legal maximum) 25 guests, we took some icy cold portraits en route to the Huntley Lodge at Big Sky Resort, where the reception was held.
